Originally from the UK, but now working as a freelance researcher and writer in Geneva. I initially moved to Switzerland to pursue an MA in Anthropology and Sociology, after completing my BA in European Studies in the Netherlands. Studying, working and residing in cosmopolitan Geneva has been a fantastic privilege, but has also driven home to me how great the disparities in standards of living are in our current global society. Through my writing, I hope to dissect and amplify stories from those who do not always have the same platform. It is never my intention to speak for others, only to reflect lived experiences.

I am a recent graduate from John Cabot University in Rome, having earned a Bachelors of Arts in international affairs and business administration. As a Filipina-American military brat who spent a majority of her life moving around the United States, Europe, and Asia, my passion for understanding cultures and diversity naturally emerged. Moving around, I witnessed how people faced adversities and I found myself wanting to help. Consequently, I decided to study global politics in an international setting so that I could further my knowledge and hopefully one day be able to truly change the world. Here at Plot Politics, my goal is to inform and encourage conversations about situations that deserve global attention and connection.

I am a recent graduate with honors from John Cabot University, having majored in political science, and double minored in communications and legal studies. Growing up in New York City, with a mother native to the big Apple and a father from Rome, a multicultural household and lifestyle allowed for my interests and curiosities to flourish. I aim to learn for those who cannot, educating myself in matters that will allow me to aid those in need. In accumulating vast knowledge that continues to develop my awareness, through this blog I would like to continue to spread that consciousness and perspective in attempts to stitch our world, our stories, and our efforts together.

I am a student at John Cabot University studying international affairs and philosophy living in Rome for my 3rd year, but a native to Northern California. As a child of immigrants who grew up amidst Spanish, American, and Iraqi culture, I have always felt a familiarity dealing with wider issues of international resonance. For this reason, I am naturally drawn to the subject of political studies as an avenue to explore the world we live in and the stories of the people who inhabit it. Through my studies, and now, on this blog, my aim is to bring myself and others closer to the struggles and stories that encompass our global narrative.
